Are you single and feeling underrepresented this time of year? Join us for an evening of jazz, community, and catharsis for those who have repeatedly subjected themselves to the demoralizing hellscape that is modern dating. A Real Human Jazz Band featuring Tom Monda, Joe Peterson, & Audra Mariel, will play three sets of real, live, Real Human jazz featuring songs that speak to the downside of being in love; songs of heartbreak, hurt feelings, anguish, despair. Throughout the evening, audience members are encouraged to anonymously share brief, written accounts of their worst dating, breakup, and general love related experiences. They will be read by Audra to the audience between songs and between sets, so that everyone present can collectively purge and discard the garbage they’ve endured as hopeless single folks seeking authentic connection in the current climate.
